Tight hips and back are part of life for runners, cyclists and anyone who sits at a desk. Pso-Rite makes hard, shaped self-massage tools for just those spots, and it's one of the recovery brands we carry at Endurance Update. Here's what Pso-Rite is and how the tools differ.
What is Pso-Rite?
Pso-Rite was created by Mac Mollohan, a personal trainer who wanted a tool that could reach the psoas (hip flexor) area and other muscles that foam rollers and balls struggle with. The flagship PSO-RITE is designed to mimic the shape of a therapist's hand and the firmness of an elbow, so you can apply targeted pressure on your own.
The Pso-Rite lineup
- PSO-RITE ($79.99) is the original two-peak tool for the hip flexors, glutes and more. Colors include Sunset Red, Ocean Blue and Night Black.
- PSO-BACK ($79.99) uses firm nodes and a gentle curve for the muscles around the lower back. You can also use it behind you in a chair.
- PSO-SPINE ($79.99) has a five-peak design for the muscles on either side of the spine.
- PSO-STICK ($39.99) is a manual massage stick with a steel rod core and nine rollers, for calves, quads, hamstrings and more. The PSO-STICK COMBO ($59.99) connects two sticks.
- PSO-MINI ($19.99) is a small, portable tool designed to mimic two fingers or a thumb, good for travel.
- PSO-KEY 10-pack ($39.99) is a tiny keychain tool for the jaw, hands, forearms and feet.
